James Club believes that anyone with willingness should be able to work a program of recovery without any discrimination and or judgement. There are many roads that lead to sustained sobriety. James Club Recovery is a FARR (Florida Association of Recovery Residences) and MAT Certified sober living housing provider for men 7 women. Our beautiful and immaculately clean houses (not apartments) are located in Fort Lauderdale & Oakland Park, Florida.

MAT is a proven medical strategy to reach complete abstinence from substance use. Florida Medication-Assisted Treatment Housing at James Club Recovery provides support and services to guests seeking recovery while on a bonafide MAT tapered down program.

SAMHSA defines Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as “the use of FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a ‘whole-patient’ approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.” James Club Recovery Residences provide safe and structured housing to guests who are following a Medication Assisted Treatment Plan directed by a licensed healthcare provider.

James Club Recovery Residences and MAT:

James Club Recovery, a FARR Certified Housing provider, provides a safe, clean and structured environment, focused around the recovery and relapse prevention process. Recovery housing, often referred to as ‘sober living’ is a proven method to help reduce relapses and feelings of isolation during the recovery journey. We believe that long-term structured sober living is a prerequisite to permanent sobriety, therefore, we do not put a time constraint on how long a guest can stay in our houses.

Provider and Treatment Plan

MAT Housing guests must be on a approved MAT Treatment Plan with a licensed healthcare provider. If unable to locate one, we can refer to a local provider. A release of Information form must be signed by a guest so that we can request the following information from your provider (provider contact information, records release, and treatment plan). All medications will be securely stored and dispensed as prescribed/directed by licensed provider with James Club staff supervision.

Support, structure and accountability are very important in the recovery process. It is a challenge even with the support of family, friends and a therapist. We are one of the few certified MAT housing programs in Broward County.

Medication Assisted Treatment housing at James Club bring our guests safe, clean and sober environments to recover. Our MAT program offers a caring staff who will work with you closely. Our team is committed to recovery and relapse prevention process. Recovery Residences are a proven method to help reduce relapses and feelings of isolation during the recovery journey.

Medication Assisted Treatment housing has been proven to help achieve permanent sobriety. Our recovery houses looks to help struggling individuals integrate successfully back into society. This can be the hardest part of healing from addiction is learning how to live life on life’s terms. We teach life skills to help individuals for after they leave the James Club.

MAT housing creates an environment of sober living to create a safe place to recover. James Club Recovery Residences offers our MAT housing for those who work with Case Managers, Recovery Coaches or Peer to Peer Specialists who all assist individuals with their recovery. The goal of our housing is to bring together individuals who are in similar situations, help them regain their lives, and successfully transition into their new lives. We cannot guarantee results but our commitment is to always put our clients interest first and be of the highest of integrity.
