Certified FARR & MAT Sober Living Homes in Broward
At James Club Recovery, we provide FARR (Florida Association of Recovery Residences) and MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) Certified sober living homes for men and women in Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park, Florida. Our beautifully maintained, detached houses, not apartments, offer a peaceful and supportive environment designed to foster long-term recovery.
What is MAT?
According to SAMHSA, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders with a “whole-patient” approach. At James Club Recovery Residences, we provide a safe and supportive home environment for guests engaged in an approved MAT plan overseen by a licensed healthcare professional.
Our MAT program is built around a proven medical approach to help individuals safely transition to abstinence from substance use. Guests participating in our program benefit from a structured, compassionate setting as they can taper down through a legitimate MAT plan under the guidance of a licensed provider.
The James Club Recovery MAT Program
To participate in our MAT housing program, guests must be actively working with a licensed healthcare provider on an approved MAT treatment plan. If a provider is needed, we are happy to assist with local referrals.
Guests are required to complete a Release of Information form, allowing us to coordinate care with their provider and access necessary documentation such as contact information, treatment plans, and medication protocols. Medications are securely stored and dispensed in strict accordance with provider instructions and under the supervision of our trained staff.
A Safe, Structured Environment for Recovery
At James Club Recovery, we are committed to providing a clean, supportive, and structured community that prioritizes recovery and relapse prevention. Often referred to as ‘sober living,’ our recovery residences help reduce the risk of relapse while addressing feelings of isolation that can arise during early recovery.
We believe that lasting recovery is nurtured in long-term, structured sober living—therefore, we do not limit the length of stay for our guests.
Why Choose James Club MAT Housing?
Support, structure, and accountability are crucial for successful recovery. Even with the help of family, friends, and professional therapy, the road can be difficult—especially without a safe space to heal. That’s why James Club Recovery is proud to be one of the few certified MAT housing programs available in Broward County.
Our MAT housing provides guests with a secure, sober living environment, compassionate staff, and a program built around relapse prevention. We are here to help reduce feelings of isolation and foster meaningful connections during this critical phase of recovery.
Building Life Skills for Long-Term Success
At James Club Recovery, we don’t just provide housing—we help our guests build the skills needed for life beyond treatment. One of the greatest challenges in recovery is learning how to reintegrate into society and live life on life’s terms.
Our team focuses on teaching essential life skills and personal development strategies to prepare guests for independence after their time with us. We work closely with Case Managers, Recovery Coaches, and Peer-to-Peer Specialists to ensure each guest has the resources and support they need.
A Community of Support Without Judgment
At James Club Recovery, we foster a welcoming community where individuals on similar recovery paths can come together, support one another, and rediscover purpose in their lives. We believe there is no single path to recovery and welcome anyone with the willingness to change—free from judgment or discrimination. While we cannot guarantee outcomes, we are fully committed to prioritizing our guests’ well-being and upholding the highest level of integrity, offering a home where hope, support, and community thrive.
